DTLA Nomination Committee Activities
Spring 2008

January – February

Collect faculty nominations

March - April
Review process:
  • DTLA committee meets and reviews nomination forms and selects finalists for DTL Award.
Selection process:
  • DTLA committee meet with finalist and each finalist present a 10-15 minutes presentation, discussion, or demonstration of their teaching technique, practice, or activity.
  • Committee selects up to four faculty to receive DTL award.
April 30
Submission of Information to the  AVP for Academic Affairs:
  • Chair of the DTLA committee submits up to four faculty names who have been selected to receive DTL award.  
  • Chair also submits DTLA Finalist Information Form (available on DTLA webpage) about the exemplary teaching practice for each faculty selected to receive DTL award.

May

PD office will develop marketing material for each DTLA finalist

June - July

The office of the AVP for Academic Affairs will order the award plaques for faculty that have been selected by division DTLA nomination committee

Fall 2008

August 18, 2008 

During the division meeting in the beginning of the Fall semester the DTLA nomination committee of each division will present the DTL award plaque to the selected faculty members.

September 2008

PD Office will show case each DTL award recipient on the DTL webpage specifically designed for this award.
