Admission Checklist

Apply for admission online at www.applytexas.org.
The application is free! Returning students who have missed a fall or spring semester must re-apply.

Submit official transcript.
College and/or high school transcript or GED certificate and scores. An unofficial transcript will
be valid for one semester only.

Apply for Financial Aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
STC school code is 031034. You must apply for aid every year.

Activate your student email account.
You will need your JagNet username and password to activate your email account. If
you don't know your username and password, visit a campus Student Information Center.
Jagmail is the college's official method of student communication.

Reserve a test date at STC's Market Place.

Meet with an advisor.
Be prepared to discuss your degree options and plan your schedule.

Register for classes online via JagNet or in person.

Pay for your classes—tuition and fees.
Check your financial aid status via JagNet or register for installment plans are available before the
first class day.

Buy your books.
