The Centers for Learning Excellence is currently searching for qualified individuals to fill Supplemental Instruction (SI) Leader (part-time) vacancies.
SI Leaders are required to attend all class components, including lab and lecture. They also hold two regularly scheduled SI sessions per week where they integrate course content with appropriate learning strategies. SI Leaders are students who are in good academic standing (3.0 grade point average, or above) and have successfully completed the course they wish to lead with a final grade of B or better. Good SI Leader candidates understand the importance of effective study skills and strategies, possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, and have good organizational and time management skills.
