Academic Grants and Projects
The Academic Grants and Projects Officer serves as the Academic Affairs Division’s point of contact in the development of discretionary grant proposals and assists with the management of all current grant-funded projects under the Academic Affairs Division. The Academic Grants and Projects Officer provides oversight and support in the development of grant applications, which seek funding to support new innovative academic initiatives. In addition, the Academic Grants and Projects Officer serves as the liaison in the development and management of the Divisional Carl Perkins annual applications and continuation proposals to maintain Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Improvement Act funding and the development of the Program Development Plan in compliance with the Carl Perkins Act.
As of 2015, there were 23 grant initiatives being implemented across the five academic divisions amassing a total of over $5 million dollars through 2018.
