Contract Instruction
South Texas College also provides workforce development instruction to high school students in its Contract Instruction Program. This program allows students the opportunity to enroll in technical courses and the grades are placed in escrow for future credits once the student enrolls at STC and completes six hours. These courses include:
- Automotive Technology
- Electronic Equipment & Computer Maintenance Technology
- Computer Aided Drafting and Design
- Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning Technology
- Heavy Equipment and Transportation Technology
- Industrial Systems Maintenance Technology
- Patient Care Assistant - NAH
- Precision Manufacturing Technology
